Tom directs and executes departmental strategies to increase student and employer career engagement for Undergraduate and Graduate Business, Engineering, and Computer Science.

With a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA from University of Northwestern, Tom enjoyed a fast-paced career on Wall Street as an institutional trader for well over a decade. He took those skills and experiences to Christian higher education at the University of Northwestern for 10 years serving in the areas of admissions, development and as an adjunct professor of Marketing.

Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio but went to college and raised his family in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Texas to work at Baylor University Career Center. In his free time, Tom loves to take walks, run or go for a bike ride with his wife. He also enjoys hunting but his wife will not join him in that activity.  Fun fact: both he and his wife are avid wakeboarders and snowboarders.
