Career Copilot Agents
From figuring out your direction to landing the offer — we've built a custom Baylor Career Center Copilot AI assistant for each and every step.
1: Discover — Figure Out Your Direction
Start here if you’re not sure what comes next — explore paths that fit who you are and build a search strategy with purpose.
Career Discovery
An AI guide that helps students explore career paths aligned with their experiences, interests, and goals. It gathers profile information, generates several tailored job titles with descriptions, runs a Gap Analysis to highlight skill gaps, and provides clear next steps. If students need further tools or deeper exploration, the agent encourages them to meet with a Career Center coach.
2: Build Your Materials
Turn your experience into a polished, professional resume that gets past the screeners and in front of people.
Résumé Builder
A guided AI assistant that walks students through creating or updating a professional resume step-by-step, based on Baylor University’s Career Center Best Practices and template. It starts from the Header and progresses through sections (Career Profile, Education, Experience, Additional), asking for user input, providing tailored suggestions, and ensuring ATS-friendly, concise results. At each step, it offers feedback, revisions, and suggested next prompts to continue the process, culminating in a complete resume draft.
Optimize Your Résumé
Already have a résumé? Great! No need to start from scratch. An AI assistant that performs the same steps as the Résumé Builder, using the same methodology to provide tailored suggestions and ensure ATS-friendly, concise results.
Find an Internship or Job
An AI assistant that takes a student's resume and preferences (e.g., industry, location, salary, job type) to search job boards, suggest relevant openings, and rank them based on fit. It analyzes the résumé for skills/experiences, matches against job requirements, and provides personalized recommendations. For real-time results, it can integrate with platforms like Handshake (using its beta API if available) or simulate searches via web tools on sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, or Handshake's public listings, automating the initial job hunt to save time.
