"It has truly been a pleasure working with the Baylor Career Center. The team has shown nothing but proactive support and warm hospitality to us in every interaction. At the heart of their continual pursuit of excellence is genuine care for and investment in their students’ personal and professional growth. We are consistently impressed by the quality of the students at Baylor, not only in terms of professionalism and intelligence, but also in their character, maturity, and perspective". - Grace Lee, Credera
Recruiting Opportunities include the following:
Information Sessions – Our most popular event type is a Virtual Information Session. Recruiters present information about the company, positions available, and any other pertinent material to students through the virtual platform of their choice. The event will be scheduled through Handshake and will include a link for the students to register. When creating the event in Handshake, please include as much information as possible so our office knows which students will be most interested.
Interviews and Meet & Greets – Currently, we are able to host interviews on campus. To request a date, please use Handshake or call our office for availability. We will ensure that social distancing guidelines are maintained throughout the process. If, however, you would prefer to host interviews virtually that is an option as well. When requesting the interviews, please let us know if you will use a virtual platform or if the interview will be a phone call.
Classroom presentations - Classroom presentations are a great way for employers to present their company to a small or large group at once. Please let us know if you would like to present in a class, and what major(s) you want to target. Some classes are online only this semester, so we may have limited availability with this option.
How do I get started with virtual recruiting? The best way to schedule most of the events is through Handshake. Go to your Handshake employer page and select Create an Event or Request an Interview. There, you will follow step-by-step guidelines. Please add as much information as you can about your request.
Contact Amanda Kuehl (254) 710-3771 for information and assistance.
Career Day - Our campus-wide career fairs are held in September and February of each year. These events are invitation-only. Employers hiring students of all majors are welcome to apply to participate.
