Sara Jones
Career Success Professional
Sara enjoys seeing the growth students experience while in college as they explore career options and/or graduate school aspirations. Working alongside students studying Science and Health Sciences, she desires to see students experience success upon graduation from Baylor University.
Before her current role as a Career Success Professional, Sara spent six years in Baylor’s Financial Aid department as a Financial Aid Counselor and then as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid Counseling. Before that, she was a public school teacher at the secondary level in the Waco area. Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in 1998 and is currently working on her Master of Science in Educational Psychology at Baylor.
Sara’s husband is an Assistant Principal at Midway High School, and she has three daughters, one of whom is currently a Baylor student! She loves to read, travel, watch her youngest daughter perform on her high school dance team, and spend time with her family. She grew up in Oklahoma but moved to Texas in 1994 to attend Baylor and still calls Waco her home 30 years later!
